Adolph Hitler was the Chancellor of Germany during World War Two. He was also Chairman of the National Socialist German Workers Party also known as The Nazi Party. He was a mass murderer who was responsible for the deaths of seventeen million people. That’s in addition to the eighty million people who died in World War Two. Here are some of his quotes:
“Basically, National Socialism and Marxism are the same thing.”
“All propaganda has to be popular and has to adapt its spiritual level to the perception of the least intelligent of those towards whom it intends to direct itself.”
“The most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly—it must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over.”
“Only constant repetition will finally succeed in imprinting an idea on the memory of the crowd.”
“In the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than to the small lie, since they often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large scale falsehoods.”
“It would never come to their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others would have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously.”
“The very essence of the struggle for power is the use of force. The State is founded on power; it must be maintained by power.”
“He alone, who owns the youth, gains the future.”
“The state must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people. As long as the government is perceived as working for the benefit of the children, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation.”
“When an opponent declares, “I will not come over to your side,” I calmly say, “Your child belongs to us already … What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.”
“The day of individual happiness has passed.”
